We offer a full range of architectural design services and our staff and associates can take your project from initial concept to full planning consent, including interior design. Traditional, radical or contemporary, whatever style you prefer we can offer design ideas that enhance the look, the layout, materials, and energy consumption. And that make best use of the site’s resources to deliver a warm, welcoming, attractive home that sits well in its location.
As part of the service we consider the construction method that will be most appropriate to your design and your budget. We will advise on the build and running costs, and the heating and ventilation systems most appropriate for your project.

House building is a complex business. WeatherWorks bring as much or as little as you need to help make it a simpler, more sustainable process.
Renewable Energy
The renewable energy available will tend to vary with the location of the project. The wind blows everywhere but not every site can use it. The key is selecting the technology that is appropriate and viable for your project.
WeatherWorks provide a complete renewable energy assessment service, from initial feasibility to full implementation. We would typically visit the site to assess the potential and provide a full written report setting out what can be achieved, the costs involved and the probable returns.
This can be done as part of a design project but more usually as an entirely separate function.
Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency is now an integral part of house design, and the sooner we are involved in that part of the project the more impact we are likely to have.
Energy Efficiency starts with the selection of the best construction method, maximising insulation levels and minimising potential energy consumption. Part of our design remit is to consider lifestyle, location and orientation and how they will impact on energy demands.
We also provide a full service for people wishing to upgrade the energy efficiency of an existing house.

General Consultancy Projects

VAT at the current rate will be added
The first hour of consultancy is generally free of charged and is used to assess the extent of the project.
Fixed Price Review
We also offer a Fixed-Price Review service for homeowners. This comprise a visit to your home to discuss what you seek to achieve and to assess the potential for energy reduction and for renewable energy. We then provide a detailed written report setting out exactly what can be done the improve energy efficiency, the renewable energy that is most appropriate and the likely costs involved.
The fixed price is £250 plus VAT. In addition we change travelling expenses at 50p per mile.
